It is a privilege to serve our community and be a part of the Worthington School District. Our administration, educators, and staff care deeply about our students, their well-being, and their future. As a member of the School Board, it is my responsibility to work with my fellow board members and the administration to ensure our educators are supported and our students are set-up for success.
I listen to all students, parents, teachers and staff to understand issues from diverse perspectives. I seek out opinions that are different from my own. I prioritize the voices of students, while incorporating the experiences and expertise of others.
For every opportunity and solution, I rely on reputable research, data, and experts to inform my decision making. When information is conflicting, I rely on the mission and core values of our district to make the best decision with the information we have.
Action is the core of my leadership style. I focus on building partnerships to reach measurable goals. I take accountability for my actions. I am a decisive leader who transparently shares how and why I make decisions. I collaborate with others in the best interest of all students.
